I always thought that whomever invented daylight saving time never had kids and weren’t the ones suffering when the time change threw established sleep schedules out of whack. That same person probably invented Capri Suns, stainless steel appliances, and Bi-fold doors. All of things that don’t mix well with kids, or husbands really.
And whatever happened to obeying the rule: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
I like when it gets dark early because that means it’s nearing bedtime. And when the kids are in bed earlier then, hopefully, so am I. Except on those nights I don’t want to give up my peace and quiet and get sucked into a reality T.V. marathon.
So I hope you’re handling the time change well. Of course, we don’t really have any other choice do we?
